Here’s a quick comparison of 2 lights you can screw on to most mixer taps – If you think they won’t take a look at your tap… that black bit on the end unscrews and they fit in it’s place.
First Type:

US:
http://eb.am/B000EIBEXU
UK:
http://eb.am/B01VGBZGA
Our Preferred Choice
Positives
Quality construction
Does what it says on the tin.
Works off water pressure (although still uses batteries)
Negatives
Far too big
Only 2 colours (red for hot and blue for cold)
Reports that water pressure isn’t great enough in some places
Option 2
The Rolson Type:
http://ua.am/9PS2
http://eb.am/3lNOwV2
Pros
Smaller, neater design
Easy to install
Works of water contact so will work in low pressure areas
Cons
Water gets trapped in it due to smaller design.
Works of water contact so doesn’t turn off with the flow given the above point (quite a major problem)
Also just 2 colours.
Big ‘Rolson’ logo on the side.
Maybe when someone makes one that is powered by the flow of the water that can do many colours and is the size of the rolson one then it will be a definite choice, but until then, as long as you have a big enough sink then the Option 1 above does the job nicely and adds just a bit of fun to the washing up, and helps when you’re getting a glass of water in the night!
Happy Watering!

Available on amazon.com/.co.uk/de and should geolocate to your closest
I’m a sucker for exotic, specialist products with latin sounding names so when looking for some in-ear headphones with noise cancelling and noise isolation these AudioTechnica ATH-ANC3 were an obvious choice.
…and they didn’t disappoint.
If you read the reviews on the amazon page, some are saying the noise reduction isn’t that good – which isn’t my experience at all.
First, make sure you use the right size silicone ear bud things or the noise isolation part won’t work well.
I suspect some people just have too high expectations and expect that you shouldn’t be able to hear anything whilst someone’s shouting right next to you as you stand in a coal mine.
I came from the other angle and was expecting it to be just a little quieter…but turn on the reduction and it’s like everything’s behind double glazing – so watch out if you’re walking in the rain as you’ll forget you still get wet.
I wear them on the underground and buses here in London and it suddenly makes it more bearable as it cuts out almost all the engine noise and rattles – great for wearing in a datacentre too as it cuts the noise from 10,000 computer fans to a light whistle.
The higher pitched noise isn’t cancelled so well, so if you listen quietly your ears adjust and you start to hear the noise – but turn it off for a few secs and you’ll soon realise.
It’s not just the noise reduction that’s good – the sound quality is excellent.
Now I’m not a hifi buff that will talk about clear heights etc, but I know what I likes – and when everything is so much clearer than with headphones in the past, these I like. They can also cope with some Devin Townsend effortlessly which turns cheaper headphones into comedy distortion devices with any sort of bass turned on.
If I had any gripes with them I would say that the control box for the battery doesn’t feel very solid and is susceptible to mobile phone noise.
Would be nice if they automatically turned off when unplugged but then with battery life at around 100hours it’s not that important (I just changed the battery for the 2nd time today and I’ve had these since before christmas)

In this, the second of our ‘How-to’ posts (see the first), we’ll explain how to create a short URL for your amazon wishlist
If you have an Amazon wishlist on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de you can quickly and easily create a TinyAddress so that you can easily share it with your friends on say twitter or facebook.
Similarly as with product links, there’s often no need to even visit our site to create the link. Just put your wishlist ID on the end of the URL.
http://eB.Am/yourwishlistid
If you only have one wishlist, or wish to share your main one then you can use the following format to find the ID:
http://eB.Am/?your@emailaddress
Otherwise, if you go to your wishlist page on amazon page you can find the code in the address bar:

In that example, your shorturl would be:
http://eb.am/25Y5HUGVEZNSU
Don’t want to faff about with copying and pasting bits of URLs?
Just put eb.am in front of the url in the address bar and we’ll parse it for you:
eb.am/https://www.amazon.co.uk/registry/wishlist/25Y5HUGVEZNSU/ref=cm_reg_rd-upd?_encoding=UTF8&msgid=updated
Due to the way that amazon works in different countries then you may experience issues if you are viewing/looking for a list which isn’t from the area you are located.
If there are problems then please comment below.
We hope you get what you wish for!

From time to time we’ll be posting items we like that we think you’ll like too! Starting today with…
Braun Series 3 390cc Electronic Shaver with Clean & Renew System

Search: http://eb.am/Braun+Series+3
US: http://eb.am/B001VEK1C6
UK: http://eb.am/B0029Z9XNE
DE: http://eb.am/B001TDZZS4
To give it its full title, the Braun Series 3 390cc Type 5772 Triple Action Free Float System Rechargeable Foil Electric Shaver is one of Braun’s midrange shavers, but excels above than it’s status – in fact those that have used the more expensive ones say they’re not worth it.
Having only used much cheaper ones previously I was wondering if even this one would be good value, but I’m pleased to say that it was money well spent.
Not only do you get a nice light-up charging stand which also cleans the shaver for you, giving it a nice smell, it shaves well too with it’s triple foils for different lengths and a pull out bit for sideburns.
Just like my Braun Toothbrush, the charge lasts for longer than I thought possible.
Anyway, there’s plenty more reviews on the item pages so click the relevant shortlinks above to take you to the amazon listing.
Happy Shaving!

If you’re looking to share something you’ve found or are selling on eBay or Amazon, creating a short link with eB.Am couldn’t be simpler – you don’t even need to visit the site!
Simply take your eBay item number, ISBN-10 or Amazon ASIN (found in the product information) and bung it on the end of the URL.
Here’s an example:
Look at the product details at:
http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Nintendo/dp/B0009VXBAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1266778516&sr=8-1

Take the ASIN and add to eB.Am and hey presto, there’s your tiny url:
Now sometimes using our special algorithms we can get this to be even shorter – this can be done with no hassle of copying and pasting.
You just put http://eB.Am/ in front of the item url and go – your link will be created automatically.
Using the same example from the link above we get:
http://eB.Am/http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Nintendo/dp/B0009VXBAQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1266778516&sr=8-1
That works with Amazon links of every country and eBay links too
If you have any problems, questions or suggestions about this then feel free to comment below.
